The Masala Walah was born from the passion of a couple, Sherin Sherif and Faisal Yousaf, who wanted to make authentic, high-quality Indian spices a simple and trusted part of everyday cooking.
Kerala has always been known for its rich spice heritage. Inspired by the beautiful spice-growing regions of Idukki and Wayanad, we work directly with farmers who carefully grow and nurture some of the finest spices Kerala has to offer.

CARDAMOM

Cardamom is a highly aromatic spice known for its sweet, floral and slightly citrusy flavour. Often called the “Queen of Spices,” it is widely used in Indian tea, desserts, biryanis and traditional dishes. Kerala is one of India’s major cardamom-growing regions.

BLACK PEPPER

STAR ANISE

Star anise is a star-shaped spice with a distinctive sweet, licorice-like aroma and flavour. It adds depth and fragrance to biryanis, curries, teas, desserts and spice blends.

NUTMEG

CEYLON CINNAMON

Ceylon cinnamon, often called “true cinnamon,” has a delicate, naturally sweet and refined flavour. It is lighter and more subtle than cassia, making it ideal for desserts, tea, baking and premium spice blends.

CASSIA CINNAMON

BAY LEAF
